Monthly Membership Meeting
Tuesday June 15th 2021, 1900hrs (7:00 pm)

Membership meeting will take place on Tuesday June 15th at the Moose Lodge;
the meeting will be held in the regular meeting hall if possible, or in the lounge area,
as dictacted by current Moose Family Lodge conditions.

This June meeting will be the last one to culminate a disastrous year, created by the
Covid-19 pandemic. Most of the members I have spoken with indicate that they have
received the covid shots, however I will be recommending masks to be worn by all for
in this last meeting of our fiscal year

As usual, there will be pizza and refreshments.;

Flag Day And National Flag Week, 2021

Excerpt from President Biden's Proclamation of 11 Juen 2021

...display the flag on all Federal Government buildings during this week, and I urge all Americans to observe Flag Day and National Flag Week by displaying the flag. I encourage the people of the United States to observe with pride and all due ceremony those days from Flag Day through Independence Day,

Covid 19 immunizations

All eligible VA members can get set up at the VA for their shots - it is my understanding that even if not over 65 an appointment can be made SO DO IT

Other sites are available for the shots, notably UCD, and at some future date, CVS, Walmart, Walgreens...and others

The important thing is to get the shots, regardless of location

American River Grange No.172 is having a fireworks booth

- As most of you know, we help staff the fireworks booth. For our help, the Grange makes a donation to the Troop. Most years, the donation we receive makes it possible to cover a lot of the Troops expenses without having additional fundraisers during the year. Proceeds from our annual Christmas Wreath sale provides money for the boys Scout Accounts. The fireworks booth is the only fundraiser for the Troop.

- I have attached a staffing schedule for everyone to look over and find the shifts that work for you. Only adults can work the booth. No one under the age of 18 is allowed inside the booth per California Law. We can use everyone's help. The more shifts we work, the more we earn.

- If possible, we would like to have the manning schedule completely filled out by next week. Sales begin on June 28, so having the staffing completed early will make it easier for the Grange to finalize it's preparation for this years booth.
